Instructions

I am officially back from Brave Trails (camp for queer youth and allies)!! it was absolutely amazing. i met so many fellow alterbeings, furries, kemmonommimis (i dunno how to spell it lol), etc. and obviously, fellow queer kids. i got to see a friend i made in a seperate camp from last year. i was able to do quads with others, wear my tail and mask without shame, etc. i could be myself. i had honestly forgotten how that had felt like. just pure happiness and pride towards who i am. and, maybe even the best part: i think i found MY name. i think i have it. My name is Lupine (st dont smite me, its not my birth name-). Im going to add that to my list. you can also call me El (my fav nickname that others have called me :D)! obviously, Swaggy and Vin are still going to be on the list, but Lupine/El is going to be added ^^ all three are okay!! i finished my source (mistborn). genuinely such a bitter sweet ending. i made four new friends as well, a shocking number for who i am, and how my brain works XD the land is beautiful, and it vaguely reminds me of the rockies, and the memories i retain from it. im definetly going back next year. theres no question about it. ========= CREATURES I SAW THAT I REMEMBER!! ~ SO MANY FELLOW (COMMON) RAVENS SO MANY FELLOW STELLAR JAYS Western gray squirrels 10 lined june beetles chipmunks (i dunno if it was merriams or californias tho) mountain chickadees turkey vultures ants (i dunno the kind, i think maybe carpenter?) mosquitos mystery yellow-ish beetle (idk what it was-) western tiger swallowtail butterfly Northern white skipper moths Pandora pine moths army cutworm moths acorn woodpeckers! southern sagebrush lizards (i THINK) violet green swallow mourning dove red-tailed hawk western bluebirds (I NEVER SEE THEM IT WAS AWESOME) mallards (PLUS LITTLE BABIESSSSS) lesser goldfinches desert cotton tail western honey bee western yellow jacket and obviously some cool plants, that i am (and was) too lazy to identify! i think i saw some of my namesake though :]
