Walk to Breakfast (Percy catches up beside her.) (They exchange a smile before continuing together.) Annabeth: Morning. (Jason, Leo, and Piper join them a few moments later. Nico and Will catch up from behind.) Annabeth: Looks like everyone's here. (Leo is animatedly explaining something to Jason while Piper rolls her eyes.) Annabeth: Some things never change. (The group heads into the pavilion together.) Breakfast (The dining pavilion is filled with conversation and laughter.) (Campers joke with one another while the smell of fresh pancakes fills the air.) Annabeth: It almost doesn't feel real. No monsters. No prophecies. No impossible plans. Just... breakfast. (She smiles as everyone settles down to eat.) Annabeth: I missed this. Athena Cabin (Later that morning, Annabeth sits on her bunk with a book.) Annabeth: Finally... Time to finish this chapter. (She flips through several pages.) Annabeth: I forgot how nice it is to read without wondering if the world's ending. (She hears laughter outside and smiles before returning to her book.) Arena (The afternoon training session begins.) (Piper walks into the arena, sword already in hand.) Annabeth: Ready? Piper: Always. (Their swords clash as they begin sparring.)
