Hey everyone, so I'm guessing you're wondering what this project is about, and I'm here to tell you now. Yes, I'm going to leave Scratch. I feel that I have now grown too old for this platform, and I no longer have much time to resume my activities and shenanigans here on the platform as I did years ago. With me turning 18 in less than 9 months, there are more things for me to focus on now, especially since I want to major in Robotics Engineering after I get out of high school. Leaving Scratch would be a heartbreak for me as I have been on this platform since I was 9 (7 years ago), but a chance for me to enjoy life's greatest moments. You only live once, and you gotta soak up all the memories, moments, and friends you can have. It moves fast, too; it feels like just yesterday, I signed up for Scratch, not knowing what to make. Now I'm 17, I'm turning into an adult soon, life will begin to settle on me, and my future awaits my arrival. There will be some phases building up to the final... major...project (I say major because I will still give you guys updates on how I'm doing, but not as much anymore. College is a big deal, you can't mess up once you're in it.) Listed below are the phases: Phase 1: Song collecting (Songs that were my favorite throughout the years will be collected and compiled into a remix to show my growth from just a shy kid to the person I am today, with one of my favorite memorable songs at the end) Phase 2: Image compiling (I will then collect images of projects, real-life photos I've shared, and important events that happened in my life. No pictures of myself will be added into this [That's for another time]) Phase 3: Animation (Like all ends, I always make animations for them [Year in Reviews, for example]. This one will be the final animation I create.) Phase 4: Gathering your guy's stuff (Once I am done with my side of the story, I will come to you guys for any comments or things you would like to say. Many of you I have known for years, so I will come to you guys first for things. You can include comments, images, anything to make me remember you guys.) Phase 5: Wrapping up old projects/game I made (There is one game I made back in 2021. It has been sitting with no updates since then, so I am going to make one final update to it before officially discontinuing production of it. I will also finish projects I started years ago that haven't been completed, giving them a chance to be shared.) Final Phase: Releasing the animation and saying my goodbyes (Once all of this is done, I will officially release the animation, and then give myself that weekend to say my goodbyes to you guys before officially leaving.) Scratch has been a game-changer for me. Without it, you guys would have never met me, nor would I have known you guys existed. I've seen many people come and go being on here, had my ups and downs in life, and broken myself to trauma and past events, but change is what makes life great. If everything stayed the same forever, nothing would be exciting; that's why we have to accept these changes. Phase 1 begins today on July 22, 2026, and it will continue until I have gotten all the songs I have wanted. I will inform you guys of the next few phases, but I assure you that all will happen between now and August 27, 2027 (If you're wondering why I chose that date, the 27th will have been 3 months since I graduated. Alongside, August is most of my family's birthdays, and they had an impact on my life too). It sucks to say goodbye, it does, especially when it's your final one, but don't let my end be the end for you. I've spent my time on here, I've made many projects that made you laugh, cry, smile, or simply plain. It's time for the next generation to take over my spot and contribute to the platform.
