I made a new Mario OC once again! And this one's based off New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe! Name: Humeris (Full: Humeris Bones) Name Origins: humerus + humorous + hubris Species: Dry Bones Personality: Overconfident, brave, quite a bit self-absorbed, but CAN care for others - he just likes being the star of the show Description: Humeris is a Dry Bones who's traveled the world to stand out. He's let the fame get to his skull a little, but he's mostly okay. He's collected some trinkets from around the Kingdom, and even dressed himself up! He's much harder to defeat than a normal Dry Bones, functioning as a boss variant - and he CAN use certain power-ups (specifically the Fire Flower and Super Mushroom)! Appearance: A Dry Bones with a wingless Blue Shell as a shell, cool sunglasses, blue eyelights, and eye black. His bones and boots swap colors. Resistances: Stomps, fire, lava Battlefield: A simple hollow cube arena with lava below. How to defeat: Hit him consecutively with 10 ice balls while he's charging - he'll slow down for every one thrown, and by the 10th, he'll freeze! From there, you can pick him up and throw him at a wall/ground pound him to damage him! Repeat this 2 more times to defeat him (the second time, he'll remove the walls of the battlefield, use a Super Mushroom, and start trying to stomp on you. The third time, part of the floor will fall into the lava, and he'll use a Fire Flower, now spitting fireballs as well.) If he falls off the battlefield (aka, if you don't freeze him in time and you dodge him), he'll reassemble back onto it from the lava! Jumping on him or ground pounding him normally will damage YOU instead because of his spikes, and spin-jumping on him will break him down...and then he'll immediately reassemble and laugh. Lore: Humeris is from a theoretical expansion to New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, called, quite simply, "Bonus World DLC". This adds three new worlds, available through a new secret exit in Meringue Cloud's airship level: Deeper Waters (which is the deep ocean of Sparkling Waters), Smoky Summit (a giant mountain), and Skeletal Castle (the final world of the DLC, and Humeris' "humble" home). Humeris isn't actually the final boss - Dry Bowser is. Pom Pom would make an appearance as the boss of all the Towers of the DLC. Humeris is the boss of the airship of Skeletal Castle, which is just before the final boss castle. Humeris is the commander of Bowser's Dry Bones squads...though usually he prefers to be the cool guy and party. He doesn't get along with Kamek or the heroes. (I like to imagine Starlow IS canonically in the main games' universe, she's just busy with Star Sprite stuff. She probably would end up knowing Humeris one way or another, given he loves recognition...and signing autographs. Humeris is a celebrity - when he's not ordered to attack the Mushroom Kingdom, he's usually hosting the coolest parties in the Mushroom Kingdom - which EVERYONE is invited to. He's self-absorbed, not heartless. He's actually best friends with Hookbill. I imagine he'd be cool in a Mario & Luigi game as well.
