I was at my swim meet today. A little girl ran past us with cat ears and paws. My conversation with my "friend" went as follows (we'll call him 'W') W: "IT'S A FR*CKIN' FURRY" Me: "So?" W: "It's a FURRY." Me: "What's the problem?" W: "They're WEIRD." Me: "Why?" W: "They act like ANIMALS." Me: "I-" (we had to get in the water) It's absolutely disgusting. It's so awful that people do this. I'm posting this to spread awareness, DO NOT hate on furries or therians. They aren't hurting you. They aren't offending you in any way. You have no reason to dislike them. They're just living their lives. Being themselves. If you support them, great! That's how everybody should be! If you don't, you should just leave. Don't dislike somebody for trying to live as they are. My "friend" has no idea I'm an otherheart, and I'm not inclined for him to find out. And, if you see someone hating on the alterhuman community, PLEASE step in. You could make all the difference.
This also made me angry because there's also a good chance that this SIX YEAR OLD GIRL just likes cats and wanted to dress as one. Don't assume someone's identity!!
