Chapter Fifteen: He Had His Reason ZELDA’S POV: I awoke to humming. "W-what?" I mumbled, my eyes adjusting to the day light peaking through the window. I sat up and winced. "Link took me home from the hospital yesterday. Goddess, my whole body hurts," I whisper, slowing standing. I walked into the living room and saw Link at the stove in the kitchen. "Morning! How'd you sleep, Z?" Link asked, turning to me with a smile. He then laughed a bit and I raised my brow, "What?" I asked. "Nice hair," he smiled. My face got red and he took a picture. I was shocked at his actions. "Link! Hey, delete that!" I asked, walking towards him. "Nah, I wanna keep it," he smiled as I glared. "Seriously? Why?" I asked, rolling my eyes. Link went red and he stopped talking. "N-no real reason...I can delete it," he sighed quickly deleting the picture. I nodded, slightly confused at his change in answer. "Anyway, sit down, I made breakfast," he sighed, turning back to the stove. I sat down and Link brought over a pan of eggs, a plate of bacon, and pancakes. "Wow! You made all this yourself?!" I asked, my stomach growling. He nodded and smiled. As we ate Link seemed worried. "You okay?" I asked, glancing at him. He sighed and said, "I was thinking...we don't have to keep this up. My Mom knows it's a fake relationship and you can tell your Mom I broke up with you. We don't have to do this, it's not beneficial to the case...so we don't have to keep up the fake relationship." I nodded and said, "True, I could stay at my Mom's...but since you're telling me all this, why did you ask me out?" I smiled. Link opened his mouth to speak but no words were spoken. He laughed and replied, "The truth is...I just wanted to get to know you better, just talk. But since it isn't beneficial to the case we don't have to go to the movies tomorrow." I sighed and Link went back to eating his breakfast. We ate in silence and I caught myself glancing at Link as we ate. I got red as my mind went through why I was doing so. I finished eating and went to my room to pack. When I got to my room I realized I never really unpacked. "So...you gonna leave?" Link sighed. I clenched my fist and quickly packed. I finished and walked to the door. Then the door opened. Ganon. He smirked and grabbed me. "No! No! Ganon let her go!" Link screamed as he grabbed my hand. Suddenly one of Ganon's buddies where behind Link and yanked him away. Ganon tied and gagged me. "No! Let her go!" Link screamed, get out of the mans grip and reaching for me. Ganon pulled me away and he laughed. "How'd you know I was coming for her?" he laughed. Link didn't reply. "Bring the money to this location and I'll consider letting her go," Ganon smirked handing Link a paper as he dragged me away. "I'll save you! I promise! I'll save you, Z!" Link's voice rang, growing distance. Ganon laughed and threw me in the back of a car, at the end of the street. "You may be the best agent, but I'm so much stronger then you," Ganon muttered, starting the car. LINK'S POV: If only I'd gotten her out of the house faster then he wouldn't have got her. I pulled out my phone and called Chief. I told him the situation, rushing to start my car. When I arrived at the station and Chief was ready. "I got the bank to loan us the money for this rescue. Let's save Agent Z before he can hurt her," he nodded. "But I have to meet him tomorrow at dawn, we gotta wait," I sighed anger rising as I pictured Zelda's beautiful smile. "He'll pay," I muttered.
