Read or listen. Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I've done anything here. I promised the last episode of BFMT to come out a while ago, and haven't said anything since. Honestly, I'm kinda getting tired of BFMT. What started as a season 3 for my silly camp all the way back in 2023, has turned into a drawn out thing lasting nearly 3.5 years and counting. One reason for this being I added lots of my story to it. I've wanted to write this story for a very long time, but it seems mixing it in with my camp was not a good idea. I tried fixing this back in March by splitting BFMT into camp episodes and story episodes after 12A was finished. But while working on 12B, I kinda realized that I don't really like this camp anymore. When there was no story to mix in, it got really boring. Which is why I just kinda silently released the episode and never notified anyone. 12B's voting ended something like 3 weeks ago and we stand at 1 vote. The problem, and the second reason I've lost motivation is I don't really like using Scratch anymore. Scratch was not meant for making slideshows or animations, the sharing and comment system don't work for what I want to do, and using it honestly isn't fun anymore. Notifying people through comments of the new episodes is by far my least favorite part of the whole process. I'm just one person making all this, and I don't feel like getting an outlet for this. I don't want to cancel BFMT. I don't want to leave you all with nothing after 3 1/2 years of this. At some point, I'll come back to the camp, maybe extend my advertising and server a bit. However, people really only need to interact with the camp side. I'll still make the story side just like I always have with BFMT. It would be great if people would see it, since ultimately BFMT is the only slightly good thing I've made here (that doesn't mean I'm not super proud of everything I've made here) I would love to keep going after BFMT. I just need to find a way to do it differently. I don't have any animation or editing software, and don't know how to use any of that. But at some point, I'll learn and go back to YouTube. I've wanted to make an object show, or SOMETHING on YouTube for like, a decade by now. I feel increasingly ready to get started on that. But, I still have unfinished business here. I'll still make BFMT 13A, then try to get it out to people for real. I'm not sure when I'll get to that. Then, it's like a million more episodes after that. Really, it shouldn't be too hard. Also, now I'm actually motivated to work on BFMT 14 since I'm still intrigued with that story. It's getting around to be busy time again, so I don't know if it will take 3 weeks or 3 months. BFMT will not die. Conclusion: I've thrown away my whole summer on Scratch cause I don't like making the camp BFMT anymore. I want to make something outside Scratch for the first time, but BFMT will be finished first. Thank you for listening. See you around!
