My weird mind My weird mind, Imaginative and wide, Most wonder what’s inside, And so do i, It isn’t like most, most will note, It is funky, It is strange, It seems to some insane, It’s confusing, Much are already assuming, That’s true, It is, I rarely know what goes on in it, Even though i should, It is my mind, It should be normal, My imagination should have confines, My eyes should look only at this world’s lives, But it doesn’t, And i don’t know why, Maybe I am not normal? Maybe I am not right? Why do my eyes, Strive for more than light? Why do I look to other worlds? Why do I not think like other girls? How come my mind wants to wander, When it should not even bother? Why was I made this way? What is my purpose any day? Am I meant to create? Am I meant to paint? To paint worlds and galaxies, To paint the sky and stars, To paint fast moving cars, To paint characters into different realities, Why? Why do I wish to paint? Why do I wish to create? What? What is there to discover? What is there that seems funner, Than being human, Than being here, Than sitting at a building or car? Why does my brain want to go far? Far into galaxies where robot aliens exist, Far into worlds where monsters live in a mountain, Far into places where animatronics are plenty, Far into where ninja turtles help the city, To where there’s a land called OZ, To where there’s a talking stone person and frog, To where there’s ninjas with elemental powers, To where there’s magical ponies and creatures that can talk for hours, Where dragons exists, Where unicorns do too, Where magic persists, Where make-believe is true, Oh, why, oh, why, Does my mind wish, For all of this? I don’t know, That’s all I can say, I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know, I truly don’t, No one here does, So let me say this, No matter how weird, Or strange, Or creepy, Or lame you see me as, No matter how unique, Or special, Or amazed, Or mystique you think of me as, This mind, Though imaginative and wide, And makes most people wonder what’s inside, And as well as I, It is mine, My weird mind
