The New Greens (Les Nouveaux Verts) are a recent minor party in Neuvellon, acting in direct competition with the established Les Écologistes. The party largely advocates for a similar transition to renewable and green energy; however, with less anti-nuclear sentiment. It began within internet forums due to a subset of environmentalist nuclear physicists in Neuvellon being angered by the assessment of nuclear energy. Its first iteration began on the 27th of May 2027. However, in 2028, with the establishment of Ordonnance N° 2028-182, the party began gaining more traction among regional voters, taking around 34% of the seats previously occupied by the Ecologists, gaining 21 regional councilors. They have yet to make an appearance in federal-level administration but have been steadily gaining traction on the local level, particularly in the urban cities that were once dominated by the Ecologists.
