Green Flag x a gazillion mcblibberillion times ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- So basically, Scratch Cat is jogging forever in this place. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's eternally springtime because I don't wanna code seasons. There's a day/night cycle, and there's even fun twilight colors. I made the music on Online Sequencer (it's a website) (Well I didn't really compose the song, it's just Hyehehe's track from Earth Island on MSM but played in major key and with brass and I added bass and I called that a song so whatever), I highly recommend Online Sequencer, as it is much better than Chrome Music Lab by an incredibly long shot. You may notice this isn't our solar system. You'll see planets in the sky that aren't our planets. Some will be bright and easy to see move across the stars. Other planets are so small or so distant they are much harder to see and track their motion, so look carefully at the night sky. You may also see the angle of the rings on planets with them change. Maybe it will be fun for you to catalogue these planets and see how many you can find without looking in the project! Additionally, you may notice that this solar system has 2 suns, a G type and a M type, both main sequence. It's like Tatooine. (Fun fact: this is very much possible IRL, some exoplanets genuinely do orbit 2 stars, like the planets in this simulation do. It's called a circumbinary orbit!)
Notes: *Scratch Cat has realistic blinking periods *It's a little jank right now, and it's also all one biome, I kinda wanna change that and make it look less repetitive, like for example there's this bug where the same mountains will spawn right next to each other *Also by jank I mean that the art isn't that great and isn't made to be looked at too hard because there's imperfections scattered around, like how the suns don't orbit very smoothly or how twilight doesn't tint the landscape pink/gold or how the ring angle changing looks odd and the rings themselves on planets don't perfectly fit behind the planet, there's weird gaps if you look closely but I decided the sprites are so small that nobody will ever notice, but now I'm telling you, so pfft. *And on the flowers, as of now they're very same-y. You can see the same clusters of flowers pass by you over and over. *The planets and the stars rotate differently than the Suns do in the sky which is weird, but it shouldn't be too noticeable because they don't appear at the same time. *I didn't add any moons to the planet Scratch Cat is on because figuring out the layering with the twilight layer and, mainly animating the PHASES, would be a nightmare. This is the same reason the simulation has no inner planets closer to the suns than the planet Scratch Cat is on, except with then I would also need to somehow make them move back and forth around the Suns rather than just go around the whole sky in a circle, which is complicated.
