The DAIG JX-21A "Thiên Long" is a fifth-generation stealth multirole fighter jointly developed by the Dainam Aviation Industry Group (DAIG) and the Kampak Aerospace Development Corporation (KADC). Created under the Dainam-Kampak Joint Air Combat Program, the aircraft was designed to establish long-term air superiority while providing precision strike and defensive capabilities for both nations. Featuring a low-observable airframe and modern integrated mission systems, the JX-21A is capable of conducting air superiority, interception, deep strike, and tactical support missions in highly contested environments. The aircraft serves as the standard land-based variant of the JX-21 family, operating from conventional airbases across Dainam and Kampak. The JX-21A officially entered service on 15 July 2028, alongside its VTOL counterpart, marking the beginning of a new generation of indigenous combat aviation for both countries. Additional production is planned as older fourth-generation fighters are gradually retired. Due to the classified nature of its onboard systems and low-observable technologies, most technical specifications remain undisclosed. The JX-21A is not available for export, with production reserved exclusively for the armed forces of the Democratic Republic of Dainam and the Kingdom of Kampak. The DAIG JX-21B "Thiên Long" is the Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) variant of the JX-21 family, jointly developed alongside the JX-21A by the Dainam Aviation Industry Group (DAIG) and the Kampak Aerospace Development Corporation (KADC). While sharing the same fifth-generation design philosophy, the JX-21B was optimized for expeditionary operations where conventional runways may be unavailable or compromised. Designed for deployment from forward operating bases, dispersed airfields, and amphibious aviation vessels, the JX-21B provides operational flexibility while maintaining the stealth and multirole capabilities of the standard variant. Its introduction significantly enhances the ability of Dainamese and Kampaki air forces to sustain combat operations under challenging battlefield conditions. The JX-21B officially entered service on 15 July 2028, the same day as the JX-21A, representing the successful completion of the first phase of the joint Dainam–Kampak fifth-generation fighter program. Production continues as additional operational squadrons transition to the new platform. Like the JX-21A, the JX-21B incorporates numerous classified technologies that remain undisclosed for national security reasons. The aircraft is not approved for export, and all production is reserved exclusively for the armed forces of Dainam and Kampak.
