Thumbnail made with Canva Q1: Why did choose to do band? A: I really wanted to play an instrument, cuz music was kinda always my thing. Q2: What instrument(s) do you play? A: Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Violin, Ukelele, Gutair, Piano, Trumpet, kinda a drum set, and newly the Tin whistle! Q3: Craziest thing your band Director has done? A: Let me write a piece for the orchestra..... Q4: Is your band class big, small, or average? A:We have like a little over 30ish kids (My marching band is like 50 though) Q5: Do you wish you could play another instrument than what you have already played? A: I want to learn Cello and the flute (My parents are sick of instrument cases. Q6: What section has the least amount of students? A: Probably percussion Q7: How many years have you played your instrument? A: Clarinet (4), Bass Clarinet (3), Violin (2), Ukelele (2), Gutair (5), Piano (1-2), Trumpet (1), kinda a drum set (1), and newly the Tin whistle (5 months) Q8: What was your favorite piece of music you ever played? A: Fires of Mazama, Which I played in 6th grade. Q9: Have you ever damaged your instrument? A: My Clarinet couldn't play B or C for a bit. Idk how though. It's fixed now :3 Q10: How long do you practice your instrument? A: Like 10 mins a week per instrument (Hey, I got a lot of instruments to practice!) Q11: What do you hate about your instrument? A: On behalf of the bass Clarinet community, being called a Saxophone, and how heavy the case it. Q12: Are you beginning, intermediate, or advanced in your opinion? A: I would say intermediate to advanced. I made honors band 2 years in a row :3 Q13: What section is the most annoying? A: THE TRUMPETS! Oh you know it's true. They don't know the difference between ppp and FFF Q14: Worst part about being a band kid? A: I don't ever really get free periods, because my free period is taken up by band/choir Q15: How often do you do performances/concerts? A: Like twice a year Q16: Have you ever messed up during a performance? A: I have a question for you, WHO HASN'T? Q17: Has your band director ever called you out for making a mistake? A: I don't think so...? Q18: What section always mess up on their part? A: If this were for choir, I would say altos... but since it's band I'm gonna go with low brass. Q19: Favorite scale? A: Chromatic :3 Q20: Last question! Does your band do any activities during class time? A: Umm, we just play songs, but our band director always says we take too much time unpacking/packing up.
