I am currently working on 2.6.0! It will be an even bigger update to villages than 2.5.0 and will add things like farms, villagers opening and closing doors, and more! Most of the instructions are in-game, except for: q key to go back into settings after you started playing the game w key to move right (doesn't matter where you are looking, always right) s key to move left update logs have now moved to in the project, due to running out of space in notes and credits. Press u to go in to it, press the left arrow key to go to earlier updates, press right arrow key to go to later updates and press u again to get out of update logs. It uses an algorithm that makes the world based off the seed (found in settings) to decide what terrain and where to put deserts, plains, oak forests, birch forests, tundra, and oceans, cacti, grass, and villages. Currently, the mobs that spawn are temperate chickens (the white ones) which you can find in the plains (grassy place), temperate chicks (the yellow ones) which are also in the plains, temperate pigs which are also in the plains, temperate piglets which are in the plains, temperate cows are in the plains, temperate calves in the plains, warm chickens (the orange ones) which are in the desert (sandy place), warm chicks (also orange, but smaller than warm chickens) which are also desert, warm pigs in the desert, warm piglets in the desert, warm cows in the desert, warm calves in the desert, cold chickens (the grey ones) which spawn in the tundra (snowy place), and cold chicks (also grey, but smaller) that also spawn in the tundra, cold pigs are in the tundra, and cold piglets are in the tundra, and cold cows are in the tundra. White sheep, white lambs, black sheep, black lambs, grey sheep, grey lambs, light grey sheep, light grey lambs, brown sheep, brown lambs, pink sheep, and pink lambs spawn in any biome besides oceans. Villagers and baby villagers spawn inside of village houses. There are no water mobs yet. That's 32 mobs already added! There is no survival or hardcore, and also you can not attack mobs or take void damage. There is also no peaceful mode because peaceful mode despawns monsters and I have not added monsters yet. Don't be concerned about the lack of caves, weather, mining, crafting, placing, day-night cycle, and damage, those will be added soon throughout the second and third eras There are currently 18 blocks (excluding air): Grass block, dirt, stone, bedrock, water, sand, snowy dirt, cactus, short grass, oak log, oak leaves, birch log, birch leaves, oak planks, cobblestone, oak door, dirt path, and oak stairs. 2.6.0 will release many more blocks, including 3 already in testing. Seed examples: 18459 generates a big section of a mix of plains and tundra right at spawn. 40353 generates some small ponds right next to each other from x positions -38 through -25 55129 generates another series of small ponds to the left of spawn and even more to the left of that is a tiny desert with giant cacti 50682 is one of the few seeds where you spawn directly in a desert (look out for warm chickens, they only spawn in that biome!) A seed with a bigger desert is 78956 A seed where there is a desert where you aren't trapped by cacti from going to another biome is 61432 (NO LONGER WORKS) A seed where you spawn on top of a cactus is 71652 seed 25935 spawns you with to the left literally 8 cacti all directly touching each other and to the right 9 cacti touching each other!!! seed 15374 also spawns you on top of a cactus seed 94190 spawns you on top of a tall cactus (7 blocks tall). Move 1 step to the right and standing on a cactus again! And the desert you spawn in is I counted 899 blocks long. seed 75139 spawns you on top of a 1 block island (doesn't feel like an island because there are 1 block ponds to both sides, but it is). seed 676767 (discovered by SolarPolar1) spawns you in a world where if you go all the way to the edge of the world all it does it alternate between plains and tundra. seed 96938 spawns you stranded on a desert island seed 98867 spawns you on a desert with no cacti. just swapping the 6 and the 7 makes 98876 with the complete opposite environment: the tundra seed 67 spawns you at y=67 seed 6767 spawns you inside an 8 cactus cluster which is one block away from a 9 block cluster to the left. seed 67676767 spawns you in a cluster of 14 grass all touching each other seed 6767676767 spawn you in a cluster of 12 grass with next to it 3 1 block desert patches each with a cactus, and the top block of all of the cacti is y=87 -96179 spawns you in a small 4 tree forest with tundra on both sides Tell me if you see any other special seeds in the comments.
See update log in the project by pressing the u key. There are currently 6622 blocks, including 2.6.0 prototypes.
