Fort Rythiar is the Bastion Federation’s massive military base constructed on the planet Kalsaim that has recently been built, then expanded upon as the Federation pours a large chunk of its funds into military buildup. Most notably the base contains a weapons manufacturing plant so that the base’s ships can have weapons installed immediately instead of having to wait for them to ship. The base also contains several large hangars and stores some of the Federation’s most powerful craft. As a result of this Kalsaim is the Federation’s most protected planet, with heavily equipped fleets swarming its orbit as well as its moon which is a major mining site for fuels and metals. It is also yet to stop growing as the Federation continues to pour funds into defense programs and military buildup to prepare for any possible war scenarios, especially in such a hostile galaxy…
