Chapter seventeen: Cover Proposal ZELDA’S POV: Link checked my injures and said, "I'll be right back." He left and I looked at the deep cuts on my arm. I smiled, "At least he didn't end me like last time." "Okay! You ready?" Link sighed, walking in and sitting on the floor beside me. I nodded and he began disinfecting the cuts. Something felt off though, Link seemed very tense. "Y-you okay? You seem a little tense," I asked, as he began sewing up my arm. He nodded not looking up from my arm. "I'm okay, just glad he didn't hurt you badly. Well he did hurt you, but you know what I mean," Link stuttered, he face getting more red as he spoke. I laughed softly and nodded, "I know what you meant Pretty Boy." Link smiled and nodded. He finished sewing my right arm and he went to work on my left arm. "So...what movie do you wanna watch?" Link asked, with a cute smile. I smiled and sighed, "Not sure, something chill. I've had enough crazy today." Link nodded, "Something chill...I think I got a movie like that." Link finished with my arm and smiled at me. "W-what?" I asked, blushing. Link grabbed my hand and whispered, "Who was that man? What did he want with you, babe. I can ask my team to track him." I then felt Link began tapping my hand. '.... . / -... ..- --. --. . -.. / - .... . / .... --- ..- ... . (He bugged the house)’ I didn't tense up as my heart began racing. "He just hurt me, he said he wanted me to have a slow painful end. Then he started cutting me," I replied. Link nodded and said, "Alright, I can have my guys try to track his location. But let's go to the movies, then we can go out to eat, I know a great place." I smiled, "Alright, let me grab my bag." Link nodded and I went to grab my stuff, quickly finding the wires and small cameras all around the house. "So, you gonna keep everything a secret from me? Or are you gonna tell me where we're going after the movie?" I asked, smiling at Link. "It's a surprise, but trust me, you'll love it," Link smiled. I laughed and Link closed the front door. We got in the car and I quickly looked for cameras, but didn't find any. "He didn't get the car, he only had time for the house," Link whispered, pulling out of the driveway. I nodded and we headed to the movie theater. We got there and I saw Purah, one of my friends. "Zelda?!" She screamed as she saw me. Link slipped his hand in mine and I whispered, "She's a friend of mine. I did tell her I had a boyfriend." Link nodded. LINK'S POV: I smiled at Zelda as she talked to her friend. "Oh my Goddess?! Why didn't you tell me?" Purah screamed. I raised my brow and she grabbed Zelda's left hand. "Why didn't you tell me he proposed?!" she squealed in excitement. Zelda laughed and replied, "Sorry, I forgot to tell you. Works been crazy and with planning the wedding." I got red at the mention of wedding. Purah laughed, "It's fine, just happy for you. Although I'm curious about how he proposed?" I laughed and replied, "It really wasn't that big of a thing. We were on a walk and felt the ring box in my pocket and so we walked to a little cliffside, the sun was setting, it felt like the right time. So I grabbed her hand, got on one knee and proposed." Purah smiled and nodded, "Yep. You're the one for Zelda." I laughed, nodding. "Anyway, what movie y'all gonna watch?" Purah asked. Zelda looked at me. "We're gonna watch...I'm not sure, it's just been a crazy week so we were just gonna see a chill movie, what ever they've got," I replied, smiling over at Zelda. "Okay, well have fun," Purah smiled, waving as she walked away. We waved goodbye and went to see what good movies was playing. I was looking at the movie posters when Zelda said, "How'd you come up with that proposal idea?" I smiled, turning towards her. "That's how my Dad proposed to my Mom," I replied. Zelda smiled, "Smart thinking." I nodded as she continued to hold my hand. Once we found a movie we got tickets, popcorn, and headed into the theater. We got to our seats and the movie started. I glanced over at Zelda and saw her laughing. My heart fluttered and I remembered, 'Once this whole thing is over...once we find that man...this, could be over.'
