Asked by KeikoTheSuchomimus I made the Indominus Rex only using animals from the Cenozoic, like my Jurrassic Indom I kept the modern animals used in the og indom (egg cuttlefish etc). Now one would think this be hard considering I was trying to make a dino-like hybrid with creatures from the "age of mammals" however, by using Barinasuchus and dentaneosuchus as a base and a bit of Pristichampsus, then using chalicotheres and mylodontids to give the hybrid stronger limbs and huge claws, then using Kelenken and other terror birds to have a sturdy keel to strengthen the front limbs as well as the neck and with a mix of chalicotheres, Kelenken and crocodilian for the head, I made something pretty indom looking. my only nitpick is that I made it too dino like, and I should’ve tried make the mammal parts more obvious but whatever, I'm only good at drawing reptile like creatures, also I decided that the end goal for my hybrid was to make something that didn't use non-avian dinos that could kill non-avian dinos, so I added Thylacoleo, Thylacosmilus and megalaina for iron teeth and a venomous bite. Credit to me for the sketches Which do you like more my Jurassic irex or Cenozoic irex design?
