Rue clung onto Moon, holding his arms tightly with her own hands, sobbing into his shoulder as realisation had finally set in. The night-themed demon could only hold her close to him, his own tear-filled eyes closed as one of his hands gently tangled in her long purple hair comfortingly. Nexus and the others couldn't even utter a single word. Foodie had tears in her eyes, Mercury looked completely stunned, Solar and Sun were exchanging a look as if to say "this is going to take a long time for all of us", and the tall gay animatronic himself was silent, staring at the two demonic figures, standing beside his partner. ~~~ 20 minutes later ~~~ Moon closed the door gently behind him, his eyes observing Rue silently climbing onto their bed. Slowly, he followed her, carefully sitting down on the bed beside her. An almost silent sniffle came from him. The moment that Moon had sat down beside her, the corrupted fallen angel had turned around, practically leaped into Moon's lap, and nuzzled her head against his shoulder. The night-themed demon ran his hands down her shoulders and arms tenderly. Rue paused for a moment, before she could finally bring herself to speak. "You... Smell weird." She mumbled softly. Her partner raised an eyebrow, looking down to meet her eyes. "How do I smell weird?" The fallen angel shrugged, swallowing back tears. "I dunno, you just... Do. I'm not used to you being a demon now." She murmured, her fingers tracing the outline of his chest. The male demon stiffened for a moment, then gradually relaxed. "Nice jumper, by the way," she added quietly. Moon glanced down at himself, finally allowing himself to smile. When Ally had made him into a demon, he didn't take much notice of his design. "Yeah... The rule doesn't apply to you, though. You're the only one who has full rights to hug me at anytime." Despite herself, the corrupted angel had a tiny smile form on the corner of her lips. It wasn't the largest grin she'd ever made, but it was the first time she'd genuinely smiled ever since Moon had died. "Well. Good to hear that, then. It better stay that way, too," she joked weakly. Taking the partners aback, a knock came from their closed bedroom door. Not brisk, yet it wasn't soft. The night-themed demon exchanged a glance with his girlfriend - searching for a look of confirmation - before he eventually answered. "Come in." Whoever it was, they hesitated before they went further. The figure then continued, revealing Eclipse. When Rue saw him, her body subconsciously tensed up against her partner. Moon glanced down at her, then lifted his eyes to meet his brother. "Are you both... Busy, right now? Foodie's asking to see you, Moon," the male twink asked. Despite talking to his brother, his eyes were locked onto the corrupted fallen angel on Moon's lap, and in his arms. The night-themed demon looked at Rue momentarily, a hidden question in his red eyes. His girlfriend only shrugged at him slightly, burying her head into his shoulder. Moon sighed. "Alright, fine. She - both of you - can come in." At his words, Eclipse stepped in, followed shortly by Foodie herself. The angel stood close behind the male animatronic in front of her, her eyes finding Moon's own. She shut the door behind her without a sound. "We're... Glad to see you're back, Moon. More than glad- we're happy. It's been too... Painful, without you." Foodie said quietly, though audible enough for the other three to hear clearly. Moon paused, agreeing after a second. "I... I've heard. I've heard a fair bit already, if I'm truly honest. Just.. glad that Ally actually decided to bring me back, even if she technically owns me now," the night-themed demon answered slowly. Foodie nodded. "It's been too painful. Painful isn't even the word to describe it." Rue stated, surprising everyone by speaking up. She lifted her head up to meet Moon's eyes once again, before -hesitantly- turning to meet her sibling figures. Or at least, they had been. Both of the celestial females made eye contact, holding their gazes to stare at one another; causing a thick tension to form in the bedroom. Moon had picked up on it right away, and he cleared his throat- distracting the two "sisters" for a minute. "I hear you wanted to see me, Foodie?" Taking her eyes off of Rue, the angel looked directly at Moon and bit her lip anxiously. "I did. I mean, I do. I just wanna spend some time with you," she mumbled softly, hesitantly walking towards her brother figure. When the corrupted angel snapped her neck to look up, Foodie froze in her tracks immediately. "Can't you see he's busy? I'm surprised you both are happy that he's back- seeing as how everyone was against my damn idea, and wanted to leave him in PEACE," Rue snarled up at her. The angel stared at her would-be sister, and her hands shook slightly. Before Moon could step in, she answered Rue. "We only wanted what was best to happen. Yes, we were against your idea the whole time- so what?" (+)
Rue narrowed her eyes further, a growl of irritation leaving her lips. "That's the exact point. You were so OBSESSED over denying my plan, yet you don't have a care in the world - other than being HAPPY - that Moon is back!" She snarled furiously. Foodie ran her hands through her hair irritably, an increasingly frustrated groan leaving her while she wrapped her tail in a loop around her leg. "It was far TOO MUCH of a DANGER with all of the risks! And you only wanted him back just for your sake!" Her so-called younger sister snapped back. Intervening, Moon gently got Rue off of his lap - not noticing the scowl that his partner made from his actions - and stood up, standing between the corrupted figure and the angel herself. "Foodie- I know what all of you went through after I died. That doesn't give you the right to-" "Don't argue against her! You were dead for just over a month or so! Your younger sister is right with what she said about your girlfriend. We never should've met her in the first place," Eclipse snarled suddenly at the night-themed demon. Moon turned to stare at him with utmost fury. "How DARE you say that, after everything that's happened. If it wasn't for Rue, we would've never-" he started, before his arrogant brother cut him off again. "If we never met Rue, we wouldn't of had the TROUBLE WE'VE HAD! And after you died, you didn't SEE how she turned against all of us!" Before Moon could snap at his brother, Rue's eyes darted to meet the burnt Dorito and gave him a death stare. "How I turned? It was all of YOUR FAULT, other than VI, NEXUS, CEDAR, MERCURY, AND KATNIP! And you REALLY expect me to NOT LOSE IT THE MOST, after EVERYTHING I'VE BEEN THROUGH IN MY LIFE?! MOON IS ONE OF THE ONLY MAIN PURPOSES IN MY LIFE!" She screamed at him in rage. Moon then looked at her, a mix of shock and disbelief in his gaze. "Rue, please- I need you to calm down. I know you're beyond furious right now- but this isn't going to solve anything. Please," the night-themed demon pleaded desperately. His girlfriend slowly glanced at him, and he saw how her eyes were shining with unshed tears. "I-i can't, Moon. After everything that's happened- I can't even bring myself to calm down.. not anymore," she whispered weakly. Moon's eyes contorted, conflict in his eyes. He didn't get a chance to speak up again. "Oh, how pathetic! Poor little you, and everything you've been through. Play the victim, much?" Eclipse snarled coldly, his hands shaking with restrained fury. Foodie looked between her older brother figure, glanced at her closest male friend, then stared at Rue once again. "Play the victim? You wouldn't even stand a single hour if you watched my life since the very start. Don't label me as playing the victim!" Rue snarled angrily, stepping forward towards the burnt Dorito himself. Despite the fact that the corrupted fallen angel was heading towards him menacingly, Eclipse stood his ground and didn't back down; only gazing at her with cold mockery. Similar enough to the old Eclipse's own stare. "You really want to blame my spiral - from Moon's death - on me? Don't you forget that I was the one that held his BODY," Rue hissed darkly, her tail curling into a tight furious ball. Eclipse narrowed his eyes, scoffing dismissively. "We're all well aware. You know what? Maybe it was destined for you to be the one." He stated coldly, unblinking. His tone was as cold as ice itself. Without a word or sound of a brief warning, Moon watched in horror Rue summoned her scythe - for the second time today - and hold it up. Right over the top of Eclipse, with a look of utmost pure rage and hatred in her gaze. "I'll finish you off like I did with Quinn," she growled darkly. Eclipse just smirked uncaringly. "Do it, I dare you. It'll just prove how pathetic you really are!" "ENOUGH!" Moon finally yelled out, desperately trying to stop the situation completely. He stepped in between his - currently heartless - brother and his partner, giving Eclipse an infuriated stare. "GET OUT! IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING BACK IN HERE TO CONFRONT RUE AGAIN, I WILL BAN YOU FROM BEING HERE ENTIRELY! GET OUT, NOW!" The night-themed demon yelled, his own wings extended; protecting Rue behind him. Eclipse just gave his brother a stare of hatred, before turning around abruptly to head to the bedroom door- opening the door, then slamming it behind him. Moon's gaze turned to Foodie, however his rage had lightened off - not too much, but a faint flicker - when he met her eyes. Foodie only gazed at him wordlessly, then finally turned her back to the two demons and left their bedroom, closing the door behind her. The sound of quick footsteps echoed down the hall, past the room. No doubt Foodie was running after Eclipse. Moon switched his back to face the door, turning his face to look at his girlfriend. The scythe had vanished. "It's no good me being here anymore, Moon..." ~~~ Chapter 59? ;] Credits to Foodie for the sibling angst idea<3
