Sangrian armies set up defensive positions along Sangria's coastal areas. The 3rd Army secures the southern deserts while the 5th Sangrian Defence Force occupies Sandran Island to the north. Sangrian naval ships from the 2nd Fleet form a protective barrier around the Gulf of Enyol. Squadrons of the 6th Sangrian Regional Airforce (not the SRADF) are sent to begin bombing raids on Clankville and the Jellacuttise army in the south, while also protecting Sangria's airspace.
Sangria has the moral high-ground here, since Jellacut started the war on a once peaceful nation, no one can object to how hard Sangria responds. The Sangian people call for Marschenia, a fellow communist nation, to join the war as well, having both nations agreed to an alliance after the previous war. "Can you hear me NOW, Mr. Waterson?"
