here's a small novel I'm working on: [ Chapter 1: A New School Year ] Rise and shine, another school day of course. Or should I say, school year? Haha, I know. Funny. Very Funny. Nana Hayashi stepped one foot into the school building, then another, then began to walk up the stairs to her class. The notice boards were fresh and clean, but there had to be a poster to welcome the students in, right? Especially the first years. Oh whatever. It's not like she’d be interested in anything on the boards, she never was. She eventually reached her class, class 2-B. And of course, her bestest friend, Yui, ran up to her. “Hey! Heeeyy!! Nanaa!!” she called out. She was always cheerful, it was sometimes almost sickening. But she always made Nana happy, no matter what. Nana looked over. “Oh- Yui?” she said, taking time to process the sight she saw. Yui got a whole makeover! Her hair was dyed, she got a fresh hairstyle, and added some accessories to her uniform too! Nana walked over to Yui, opening her mouth to speak. “Yui.. you sure did change.” She said in slight awe, her hand moved up to touch one of the cute bow hairclips on Yui’s hair. “It’s cute, though.” she added. Yui giggled, placing her hands on her hips, feeling proud. “Mhm! And I'm proud of it!” She said confidently. Her hands moved down to her small little cat shoulder bag, pulling out a copy of the bow hairclip she was wearing. “This one is for you, Nana! We can match!” Nana paused, and she took the clip from Yui and smiled softly. “Thanks, Yui, it’s adorable!” Eventually, their new home teacher entered the room. It was a man. A handsome one. “Good Morning students, I suppose I'm your new home teacher.. I promise im not that boring, at least. Definitely not like Ms. Kamijo." Nana silently cheered in her head after hearing that. Ms. Kamijo was quite annoying. Thank god a teacher took note on that too.
