SP-59 “THE RESILIENCE” OR “LOTUSIAN VIRUS”DETAILS AND EFFECTS:SP-59, more commonly known as The Resilience or Lotusian Virus is a powerful infection that affects the mind of a Robloxian. The Resilience is transmitted through air and touch. This virus takes effect seconds after it enters the host’s body. Symptoms include severe coughing, illusions, headaches, glitchy twitching, and losing control of a limb. The virus takes about 4-5 minutes to spread through the entire body and into the mind. Once it is inside, all symptoms stop and the virus rapidly drains energy to fatigue the host. If the host manages to resist, they become filled with immense energy and fear, not allowing them to think straight and giving them superhuman abilities.Once somewhat fully infected, the host loses control of their own body but can still slightly resist. This causes the body to be controlled entirely by the virus. The virus tries its best to spread itself and to change at the same time. The virus does not have survival instinct, and so infected people will not mind tools and weapons. The virus rapidly evolves but can only do so inside a host. Sometimes, the virus is too weak to fully take over, and so only part of the mind is affected. However, the virus commonly adapts to this by making the host view every Robloxian as an eldritch creature beyond comprehension and main character syndrome making them hostile towards other Robloxians.The virus spreads throughout the body to give it more durability and strength. The virus, once evolved enough, will fully defeat the Robloxian, putting the body entirely under its control, while also giving it some self-preservation instinct. If the virus has a host for too long, it will begin fearing being defeated. It will fear its demise, and because of that, it’s harder to stop. Infecteds that have this will have a surge of energy, and will learn to use gear and weapons. A virus that has had a host for too long and has been exposed to Robloxian language can learn it and begin to be an extreme threat. There have been records of infecteds asking for mercy as they were being captured, placing guilt on their opponents. The virus can also alter parts of the body if it wishes to, this takes time however.ORIGIN:Mutated off of a virus in a hidden den which made its way to the lost temple, causing a mass outbreak of SP-59 inside a large facility called Telum Ergo. Telum Ergo (or TMO for short) is a facility that experiments on tools, gear, spawns, energy cells, and lifeforms. In the experiment, they were trying to find a way to efficiently tip supplies with the virus. However, when they tried to use Concentrated UV Light, it rapidly mutated the virus into what it is now. Overcoming the scientist and infecting the others around him, the infection rapidly spread and eventually the militia was called in to handle it. The battle to reclaim the laboratory is still ongoing, as every defeated soldier adds another infected to deal with. There is valuable research on Spawns and Robloxia in the furthermost reaches of the laboratory, making it essential to recover. However, due to its massive size, the militia has divided it into 12 sectors, and have only gotten as far as Sector 3. There are multiple base camps set up to provide supplies and medical aid for other soldiers who come in. CURE:The cure for the infection is salt.Nah im joking,There is no cure.However, infected Robloxians can fight off the virus in their system if it has not spread to their mind by having extremely strong emotions such as intense determination. The will to survive does nothing against the virus once it reaches the mind. Falling in battle makes it easier to be infected. However, infecteds cannot rise back up after being completely EXTERMINATED
