whoa what a wild ride. i first started writing July 24th, 2024, but began the plan a few months before that. and on July 26th, 2026, I have officially finished my first ever original story. nearly a perfect date. why didnt i finish two days ago XDDD i cant beleive this took so long, it being such a short story. I have definetly learned quite a bit about writing in this time. I'll have more experience to write my next story, which as of right now, is planned to be a trilogy. Raven Cry, origionally titled "Moon", has gone through so many changes in the story. The end I went with was not at all what i had planned, even when I started, I didn't even HAVE an end planned. It sure was a wild rollarcoaster. I started officially writing this story a few months before learning I was an alterbeing. And a little more than a year before learning I was queer. Sun was origionally not aroace, but the mate of Star. They were meant to have pups together. Malady was meant to be mates with Baleful, etc. I have learned so much about both myself, and how to write, while doing this. It brought me so much joy, its sad to see it over. But also, I'm quite proud and happy. My very, VERY first og story (though, inspired by Foxcraft). Obvoiously, not too well written, probably quite a few plot and time holes. But nonetheless, I did it. it doesnt feel like its been so long. It REALLY doesnt. It feels like just last year when I was a little 10/11 year old planning out the beginnings of this thing. I think little me (the one who thought it was a girl.) would be so proud of me, and shocked that I actually did it :D And if you have a story idea, JUST DO IT.
