heyyy my ears hurt from too much music (skip to the bottom if you're not star unless you wanna read all this) okay first of all i'm actually so sorry about this. i screwed up my literal first art trade...thingy that was with someone who is like one of my favorite creators EVER and it was like 90% my fault (the rest was my school and the united parcel service) so the first month was basically just me having really bad timing, just around the time i started this i had finals and so i was studying (for once in my life) for those, and then i lost all my work since previously i was working on my school ipad and they took those away permanently after finals so i had to get a new ipad, make new brushes again, and rework the entire sketch i had done that was all the first month, so the second is just entirely my fault. i was avoiding working on this because i feel awkward drawing and sharing stuff related to my interests, especially regarding stuff that i really really like. and it didn't help that basically all summer i had some severe art block and so i couldn't draw just in general. and that's not to be an excuse. so i'm really sorry, this is super late, and it's not like even particularly great or anything. (although, on the upside, i guess you get the version with my current artstyle?? instead of my old one???) p.s. if you feel like violating your eyeballs with my old concept sketch it's inside the project. anyways. enjoy or something. 1) finished version. i like the concept especially since it's referencing that one scene (s2 ep7 or ch. 86) with all of the favorite characters i was given. lowkey screwed up the lighting though, i was getting tired and i absolutely despise backgrounds (top 3 art things i hate) so don't look at the background or the background lighting too hard 2) sketch i've actually started doing sketches now. you can tell it changed a good bit from here to the finish 3) base color screenshot taken before i went crazy with shading since i shade on the same layer as the base colors. also before the lighting adjustment since it's dark in the finished piece 4) base sketch 5) colors screenshot (after adjust and shading) i mostly just took this because normally the colors without the lineart looks cursed but this looks actually okay 6) no weird lighting stuff yay i'm done!! stats for nerds time taken (total): two months time taken: 6.5 hours (about...3x longer than normal...) featured song: tell me you know - good kid brush of honor: my lineart brush o7
