I imagined Notebook would be a silly drawing girl since her canon self is just a compilation of drawings. Given that her non-refined drawings are full of errors, I reflected that here - her hair might not even be hair (could be a weird hat?), her neck and shirt seem to have become one, and it's hard to tell her gloves are, uh...gloves. I imagine when she walks, she's animated like a flipbook. Eraser was much simpler. I pictured him to look like a businessman, but with a watch that's an eraser instead of a watch. It kind of functions like a mini-grappling hook, if you push the (non-visible) button on the side, it launches forward. I imagine this is just his casual outfit though - in battle he probably wears a construction vest given his whole thing is destroying Mario's attacks or erasing panels on the board. Also I'm thinking about making it canon that Notebook is Eraser's daughter. It's an adorable dynamic, and one that would be equal parts perplexing and heartwarming...when they're NOT trying to kill Mario.
