Try to find a way to beat reality. Spoilers! You can't. :) There can't be an character that can destroy reality itself, they just destroy the fiction verse they're in. One of my characters you probably know, is aware they are not real no matter what, and they live with that because there's nothing to prove they are real. Characters are just fiction, but people, Real people, are not. Yet it doesn't mean they can manipulate reality. You can't break out of a room that has no outdoors, or should I say, no outside. I've made this topic because one of my characters has the "I can destroy reality!!!" cliche, but I know that's never true. It's just a metaphor. They can only destroy the place they're in and can't affect all fictions at the same time. If a character says "I will destroy all of fiction, now!" . . . Silence, nothing else happened other than the fiction they're in. A character who has the ability of their author, cannot write the outside universe where the real author resides. Only the real author can erase their own story.
