Since early 2028, relations between the Democratic Republic of Dainam and the Totalitarian State of Mosesia have deteriorated significantly amid escalating tensions along the shared border. According to the Government of Dainam, Mosesia has repeatedly challenged the internationally recognized border and asserted claims over several frontier districts that Dainam considers an integral part of its sovereign territory. Dainam further alleges that, over recent months, Mosesian border forces have been responsible for multiple unauthorized incursions into Dainamese territory. These alleged incidents include attacks on border outposts, harassment of local communities, and several armed confrontations with Dainamese security personnel. The Dainamese government states that the violence has resulted in civilian casualties and has forced thousands of residents to evacuate vulnerable border areas.
