You will receive a comment from me if you are accepted into the event! ==== This year's Design-a-thon will have a ticket/art booth system! It's recommended that participants try to take part in all the events and as many of the daily challenges as possible to produce lots of cool designs that can either be kept by the artist or claimed by other participants of DAT. ======= Design-a-thon consists of three uniquely themed main events which are described in more detail on the Events page. During each week-long event, participants receive an individual prompt that they use to design an original character. In addition, shared daily prompts are available for all participants throughout each event. Submission of event entries grants Design-a-thon participants tickets. Tickets are the virtual Design-a-thon currency. Design-a-thon participants are encouraged to host shops to sell art and design commissions to other Design-a-thon participants. Tickets can be used to purchase items from Design-a-thon participant shops. EVENTS >>> 1) Sweet Shop - Each participant is assigned a randomly generated dessert as a design prompt. - Contestants have 1 week to complete their entries and submit it as a remix. 2) Combination Domination - Each artist is given 3 words and 1 color palette as a design prompt - Contestants have 1 week to complete their entries and submit it as a remix. - Note that you DO NOT have to use all the prompts given, though it is strongly recommended that contestants use their assigned palettes. 3) Beasts of Fantasy - Each artist is given 1 plant and 1 animal as design prompts. - Contestants have 1 week to complete their entries and submit it as a remix. 4) Mystery Event - ???
