The old one was weird, so I redid it. BACKSTORY When Honey was only a moon old, she was abandoned by her parents. Two farmers, Mark and Lucy, heard her mewling in the cold. Lucy rushed outside to identify the noise, while Mark brought lanterns and a coat. They soon spotted Honey, who had passed out. The couple took pity on her and decided to adopt her. When she was six moons old, strange things began to happen. Bees would come to her and form beehives next to the house. Strangely, they wouldn’t harm her whenever she came by. And if her two legs were with her, they wouldn’t get hurt either. They decided to call her HONEY because of the honey the bees brought them. One day, Honey was strolling around her territory and spotted a cat. From what she could see, the intruder had a light purple pelt and was around her height. Honey decided to investigate (and a couple of bees decided to follow her!) The ‘intruder’ was called Violet. She and Honey quickly became friends, and soon Honey noticed that Violet was very good with flowers. Bees and flowers went well together - just like she and Violet did! Honey was used to wearing a blue flower around her neck that her two legs had given her. However, when she passed a field of flowers she told Violet, « Woah, those are pretty! » Violet had already started making a necklace out of them for herself, and she offered to do the same for Honey. « So that we match, » she explained. Honey readily agreed. Mark and Lucy didn’t mind the new necklace nor that Violet lived with Honey now; but they asked that they go to the barn, where they would live. They knew that Honey was prodigious enough to understand. And so Honey and Violet lived, in a barn full of mice and next to kind twolegs who fed them milk. There they stayed, and they lived a happily ever after. NOTE: There are no couples in this story. If I used that word, it was to describe « a pair of people » and not « two married people. » Mark and Lucy are siblings, while Violet and Honey are friends. Hope you liked this! <3
