This is something that I myself do have, so I will be sharing my experiences and how this will affect Abyss. Myopia (or nearsightedness) is a condition in the eye that makes it so that you can only see objects up close. Distant objects appear blurrier the farther away they are. With Abyss, distant objects will start to become blurry about a foot in front of him, and at about 20 feet he will only be able to see distant blobs of color. Having anisometropia, or two eyes with vastly different prescriptions, he will rely heavily on his left eye to see distant objects, as that eye works perfectly fine. This can cause double vision, worsened depth perception, headaches, and eye rubbing. At times, Abyss will close one eye or the other to get a better look at something, to reduce fatigue or this double vision. The depth perception will hinder his ability to climb, and sometimes for this he will use coverings or his head fur to cover his bad eye to combat that.
