"Love is like a field of grass, anything could grow next to each other at any minute." And those were my Mama's words that she said when I asked her about love. I was 8 then. Corny line. Now that I'm older, I live with my aunt. Mama and Papa are busy, busy people. Really busy. Too busy to care about their son. Too busy for anything, really. You know, love, it's absolute trash. People alwaaays rant on and on about how great love is, bla bla bla yada yada yada love love love. Total crap. I sit at the park--the one near my school--to do my homework. If my auntie quicks up, I can get home and fill my stomach. I feel like I lose track of mealtimes. I always miss that stuff. And, you know what? It feels like my thoughts keep changing, every single second. One second, love. The other, mealtime?? I swear I've been losing my identity. Like I'm being turned to a different person, every second. Hmm... if 284 lunches were served out to kids at a school, how much lunches would be served out after 5 days? 1420. Duh. "Kid, you getting in or not?" My aunt appears beside me. "Ah- Uh- Yes, I'm getting in, thank you." I head to the car--and shut the door. Btw the chapter is intentionally chopped because this kid has chopped thoughts ok ✅✅✅✅✅ And I got lazy w/ the art I'll update it tomorrow ok
