Instructions

ATTENTION!!!! If you don't want to read the introduction, I would advise you to look at the instructions. They are located right after the introduction. Introduction: Hi there. This is actually the first proper game I have ever made in Scratch or in general, so bare in mind it's far from perfect, and really far from a train simulator of any sort. It was inspired by my interests in trains as well as my fondness of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Nortehern Ireland. I hope you enjoy it. Instructions: green flag- start game green 'play' button- start route You will start at Plymouth train station, the starting point of this route.The train you will be driving is the top one. You should wait until 2 buttons and 1 light, show in the upper left corner. Press the red button to open the doors and board and deboard passengers. The light, down and to the right will turn dark blue, and the button on the left of it, will turn light blue. You must wait for your passengers to get on board (your train holds 150 passengers max.). Boarding is completed when the list 'Passengers on board' stops filling up. Press the blue button, below the red button to close the doors. The button will turn dark blue and the light on the right of it, will turn light blue. The doors are now shut nad you can now start the train and head on your way. Here is the list of coamands: red button- open doors light/ dark blue button (below the red button)- close doors light/ dark blue light (to the right of the 'close doors' button)- indicates that the doors are closed (dark blue) or opened (light blue) down arrow key (position 1, 2, 3, 4)- increase speed (accelerate) I suggest you first slowly accelerate using speed 1. When the station is out of sight, you can slowly, step by step, accelerate to speed 4. You can only decrease the speed using the brakes. up arrow key (position L, M, H)- decrease speed (brake) Brakes have different settings. With brake 1, you will slow down very slowly, with brake 2 a bit faster, and with brake 3 very fast. The red dot on the control/ traction leaver is the emergency brake, use it to stop the train immediately. There is a gage in the top right corner. It shows you, your accceleration rate, and your brake rate. 'Br' stands for brake, and 'a' for acceleration. There is a counter, that shows you how much time you've got left to the train station. Prepare and slow down the train. There is also a radio. Press 'i' to turn it on and press 'o' to turn it off. You should wait a few moments, after turning it on.
