DAT Daily Prompt Designs! This summer I really want to focus on designing some more unusual anthro species in various historical wear! (Basically I found really awesome books on mammals and historical costume. muahaha) (where are my DAT anthro buddies at,, i'm lonely ☹️ /silly) -- Unfortunately I'm not sure how many designs I'll give away this year, as I'm planning to use this time to design new characters for a comic I've been working on! She is a Genet (a catlike-martenlike creature from Africa and other areas) and styled after a medieval (with fantasy touches) maid or cook! ⦃ Tent Level: • 4/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • Keeping ⦄ ⫸ № 2 : ⚞ Lemon Curd Thumbprint Cookies ⚟ – This one was so fun to design xD He is a Cape Fox, a subspecies of fox similar to grey foxes, kit foxes and fennec foxes! I went with a medieval theme again, he is wearing a pair of hose, a fitted sleeved padded jupon, leather hood, and leather shoes with wooden platforms tied underneath to protect the shoes! He also has a Misericorde dagger (an ornamental dagger often worn by men at the time). ⦃ Tent Level: • 4/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • Keeping ⦄ ⫸ № 3 : ⚞ Pistachio Cake ⚟ – I had meant to make this one a freebie but got too attached *cries* This feller is a Chamois, a wild antelope-goatlike creature from Europe and Western Asia. He was not based on a specific historical era, but I went for a sort of Greek/Roman style. ⦃ Tent Level: • 5/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • Keeping ⦄ ⫸ № 4 : ⚞ Baked Pears ⚟ – MY CHILD- I LOVE HIM SO MUCH LOL This one was so fun to make!! I'd also planned on this being for offer but oh well- At first I wasn't sure what to do with the prompt but the stalk of the pear ended up reminding me of giraffes' horns (for some reason) so I went with that! This fellow is a Rothschild's giraffe. I based his clothes off of 18th Century France! Sadly I didn't add woolen stockings and heeled shoes as I don't like drawing shoes on anthros xDD ⦃ Tent Level: • 100/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • Keeping <3 ⦄ ⫸ № 5 : ⚞ Neapolitan Cookies ⚟ – This one was fun! She is a Red-Bellied Lemur, specifically with female markings (females have shorter teardrop marks and a white belly, not a red one!) I wanted her design to mainly include red/pink, yellow/white and brown/black patterns, hence why I chose a lemur and a circus theme! ⦃ Tent Level: • 3/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • EO(Entertaining Offers) ⦄ ⫸ № 6 : ⚞ Rosettes ⚟ – This prompt was interesting! The dessert gives off very wintery/cold vibes so I took that into the design too! This one is an Arctic Hare with no set clothing style, though I took inspiration from bits of Scandinavian and Russian clothing :3 He has hood and belt brooches in the shapes of the rosettes, and his coat is patterned like them too! ⦃ Tent Level: • 2/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • Closed to ⦄ ⫸ № 7 : ⚞ Blackberry Lavender Cake ⚟ – I just went blackberrying the other day haha! This design was really fun to make, I liked experimenting with the different shades of purple! She is a Giant Panda with no specific era of clothing style, just fancy-fantasy style! ⦃ Tent Level: • 2/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • WTA/Trade ⦄ ⫸ № 8 : ⚞ Dreamy, Whimsical + Ethereal ⚟ – I'm going to be using bases for these guys :P This lady is a whimsy fantasy forest style doe! She wears a pink chemise with a purplish bilaut over the top, with a cape and skirt wrap of sorts, with many greyish brooches and a girdle. I gave her fluffy wings on her back and antlers, which wasn't the most creative detail, as I thought most people would (and did) also do the same xD - I experimented with opacity to give it more contrast in colours, opacity on cape and underskirts is at 50% ! ⦃ Tent Level: • 2/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • WTA/Trade ⦄ ⫸ № 9 : ⚞ Dark, Mysterious + Gothic ⚟ – The lineart was going so well... and then I forgot what colours I had to work with TvT he's a wolf (loosely resembling a Labrador Wolf) with inverted eyes, and wearing yellow hose, a purple bilaut, grey gipsere and black cloak. ⦃ Tent Level: • 2/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • WTA/Trade ⦄ ⫸ № 10 : ⚞ Cute, Pastel + Charming ⚟ – This one was really fun to draw! I saw the pink and wanted to design a pig, so I went with the large white breed! This lady is wearing a black chemise, orange embroidered houppelande and blue and black girdle! ⦃ Tent Level: • 3/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • WTA/Trade, picky ⦄ ⫸ № 11 : ⚞ Soft, Cozy + Nostalgic ⚟ – I wasn't too sure what to do with this one! I ended up making a raccoon dog wearing a tunic, hose, and a cyclas! ⦃ Tent Level: • 3/5 ⦄ ⦃ Status: • Keeping ⦄ Cont. in n+c
