Yambug layed with her pale brown pelt inloped in the foggy mist of the outer lands, she held a delicate pink flower in her paws, the illiy's petals wilted slightly, tanned by the taste of death.. The pink lilly flower represented of a mother's love, but now even it's pedals had furloughed into something unrecognizable when death had taken it, it was ironic wasn't it... how a flower could represent the same pain plagued her.. - She hadn't seen her children in quite some time.. She had seen chimekit shortly after her passing was she doing alright? Last she had seen salamanderkit she had towered over her... whould she still want to see it's mother after last time? Were story and beauty doing ok? Had the after life been treating her daughters alright? She thought to herself smoothing the petals out in her paws.. Oh how she wished she could have stayed just a little longer, she had missed so much.. "I bet you were amazing apprentices.." She whispered out into the void as tears fell down her cheeks, If she had known when she woke up that day that it would be her last she surely wouldn't have wasted such a precious moment, she'd have given anything just to hold there tiny paws in hers once more..to see the there tiny pelts rise and fall, here the voices once more.. She'd take the chance to feel the pain of death 100 times over just to relive their kit-hoods one more time.. - Yammy lifted the flower in her paws, what had she missed? What did maplestar name them? Where they even named by maplestar..? Had she retired by the time they were warriors? She had missed so much of there lives, where they even the same kits she had know so long ago..? She pondered placing the soft pink lilly in her pelt.. - "I'm so sorry.." she whispered under her breath even though no-one would hear her voice, "I'm so sorry, I failed you.." The brown she-cat muttered her voice wavering with a mix of grief and guilt, she had seen how much Salamanderkit had grown angry after her death if she was able to be there whould things have been different? Yammy thought to herself as she stood up her long tail bushing against the sparse grasses as she made he way back into the fog a gloomy expression across her face.
