Riri mainly has social anxiety, but also struggles with anxiety about other things. Her anxiety varies from moderate-severe depending the day. Anxiety can have genetic origins, however Wisp's originates from the feeling of pressure to be perfect. Her anxiety was much milder when she was young, but it intensified severely during apprenticeship. Her fear of failing is very strong, and it can lead to her freezing, stuttering, panicking, panic/anxiety attacks. Riri's social anxiety has led to another thing, selective mutism. Selective mutism is, (despite what the name suggests) not voluntary. Selective mutism is almost always in school-age children, though it does have some later-life effects. Selective mutism is when someone severely struggles or fails to speak in a stressful situation. Usually in instances like presentations, speeches, or other public. It can affect normal conversations, with strangers as well. People with Selective Mutism usually can talk normally in safe situations with someone they trust. Riri experience it for most her young life, and struggles with speaking at times her whole life
This is for Spiritkit. I love Riri :3
