“The Ichor Spill” chapter 2 - Cosmo [Rewrite] Cosmo grabbed everything he thought Looey would need. Water, food, Dand-aids, medkits, and speed candy. What..? You never know when you need a speed candy to get out of a sticky situation! He just wanted to make sure Looey would be okay on his journey tomorrow. ‘It’s so peaceful outside,’ Cosmo thought to himself, ‘ you can’t hear any twisteds outside. Maybe they sleep too sometimes?’ Everyone was getting ready for bed. It was pretty late at night, maybe around 9. “Heya Cosmo, what ya packing!” Looey said with a smile. Cosmo jumped, he didn’t see Looey coming up from behind him. “O-oh.. ha..! Sorry you just scared me, I didn’t see you there.” he replied, not answering Looey’s question. Looey looked at Cosmo with a nervous smile, “Oh uhm sorry! But what are you packing..?” Looey tried to look at the bag behind Cosmo. “Oh,” Cosmo said, looking at the bag, “Just some water, food, heals, and speed candies.” Cosmo smiled pointing out the speed candies mainly. “Why would I need speed candies??” Looey asked, pulling one out of the bag, “WAIT! Let me guess!!! Uhm.. To get away from twisteds?” Cosmo smiled at Looey, “Yeah, you got it right!” Looey smiled, giving Cosmo a thumbs up, and jumping away to the others. Once Looey was gone Cosmo put an item with a note on it in the backpack for Looey and zipped it up as fast as he could. Cosmo hoped Looey opened the backpack later tomorrow after he left so no one would see. No one could see this, not even Sprout… ‘I wish I could tell the others about this but this needs to stay secret for it to work.’ he thought to himself, grabbing the backpack and putting it on a hanger. In the morning Looey would go off for his trip, Sprout would be worried as ever until Looey got back. But little did everyone know Cosmo was worried about someone too, he pulled out a little red capsule that looked like Gigi’s head. Cosmo sighed and whispered to himself, “I hope you’re still alive Gigi…” Cosmo really did miss Gigi, he hasn’t seen her since… Well the spill. “Hi Cosmo, are you ready for bed?” Sprout asked, “We have the new room all set up!” Cosmo looked up at Sprout and frowned. “Uhm… In a minute…” Cosmo said, putting away the capsule. Sprout's smile faded and he looked at the others behind him. “Oh well, when you’re ready we’ll be sleeping I guess..” he said to Cosmo. Sprout started to walk over to the other in the other room. … Everyone was asleep in the other room except Cosmo, who was still where he was packing the backpack. Cosmo rubbed his finger on the little red capsule, he was thinking about Gigi again. All of a sudden Cosmo’s eye started to throb with pain. “AHRGG!!!” Cosmo screamed, falling to the ground dropping the capsule. He put his hand over his eye as ichor spilled out of it. He pulled his hand out looking at it, it was covered in the ichor. The ichor wasn’t the dark blue it normally was, it was black like a twisted’s ichor. Cosmo got and grabbed a medkit, he tried to find anything he could clean this mess up with. ‘Come on… Come on… I know some paper towels are in here…” he thought to himself. The pain started to fade as he found the paper towels he was looking for. Cosmo put the paper towels on the ground and cleaned it all up, he then used the rest of the paper towels to clean around his eye. Cosmo looked around, no one. So he opened the door to the outside and threw the paper towels out. ‘Thank god these walls are sound proof…’ he thought, about to open the door to go to the others. They would be up soon, it was almost time for Looey to leave. Everyone would say their goodbyes, then Looey would leave and later open his backpack and… The door opened up. “Good morning Cosmo..!” Sprout said wearily, waving at Cosmo. Cosmo put on a smile and waved back at Sprout. “Are… Are you ready for Looey to leave?” Cosmo asked, pointing at the backpack hanging on the wall. Sprout looked at his feet, “I… I guess so… Let’s wake everyone up I guess.” Cosmo nervously smiled at Sprout before walking into the other room. Cosmo ran over to Looey to wake him up first, Cosmo shook Looey as hard as he could to awaken him. “Looey it's time to go!” Cosmo said nervously, picking Looey up. Looey was light as a feather, I am he was made with balloons. “O-OH OK!!!” Looey yelled outloud, running over to the main room to get his back. Looey’s scream woke everyone else up, so they all went over to Looey to wish him goodbye and goodluck. “Bye Looey!!!!” Cosmo almost screamed. Waving goodbye to Looey, everyone started waving with him as Looey jumped out of the room. Sprout walked over to Cosmo and started to frown.
