Ok explanation on this au basically: -- So set during the late 1960s, The streets are a dangerous place for women in the dark alleyways, The blood hounds [Sprouts gang he mentions], Is a group of rebel teens who use the night as an advantage to try & attempt to pull the girls they come across, if they either refuse or try to run, they may attempt to kill them. The group contains members such as Looey, Shrimpo, Finn, and Sprout, who is said to be the leader due to his high riches from his mother after she ended up remarrying to a wealthy man, Cosmo isn't a part of that group, instead he attempts to be better than them. Every now and then, he heads to a local bar or party unannounced and waits for a moment. Whenever he notices a girl nearby, he attempts to gain their trust, along with attempting to ask if he can walk them home. If they refuse, he doesn't argue, instead, he ends up stalking them home until he sees them safely inside their home. Many regulars at bars attempt to flirt and mess around, however, Cosmo isn't interested in many. One night however, when walking a certain woman, Poppy bubbles, certain blood hound members were at said bar before they left, so the team had a warning before there was an ambush. Poppy managed to run safely away, as Cosmo managed to use his gun to fight them back. However, before he managed to attempt to kill them, a sniper from the rooftops shot him in the chest. Cosmo should have died, as he collapsed on the ground and felt darkness close up on him. The last thing he saw was Sprout, the man behind it all. Cosmo awoken, he felt slightly cold and sleepy. He sat up on a mattress, obviously the stains said it was forgotten about years ago. He was in a bedroom, a nicer one in that. Sprout was there, reading a very obvious adult magazine behind a larger book. He finally noticed him awake and walked over. It was quiet silence before Cosmo asked about why he was even alive. Sprout kept quiet, before saying he was the reason he was alive, as he managed to revive him somehow. Cosmo looked at his chest, it was wrapped tight in stained bandaged wrap, practically limiting his breathing. Cosmo fell silent, he was confused how it was even possible. Sprout didn't know either, he was also confused on it too. The two fell quiet before Cosmo jokingly mentioned what he was reading, Sprout was overjoyed to share with him, as he handed it over. Cosmo read through it, it was about people's experience with queer relationships and the fear of people thinking it will kill the population. Cosmo froze as he read that line, over and over. Cosmo looked back at Sprout, before jokingly mentioning such. Sprout froze at the response, before obviously hiding feelings toward someone. Cosmo asked who in sudden concern, Sprout didn't answer, he ignored it entirely. He took the magazine back before making an obvious excuse about his group wouldn't be happy about him helping the rebel. Cosmo then questioned him about the question again. Sprout finally snapped, saying it was him, and it was always him. Cosmo froze, before looking away, feeling guilty about pushing him such. Sprout told him he should leave, but Cosmo kept his stance. Sprout took a moment to realize, he was accepting. Sprout pushed him against the ground, as it was awkward moment between them. Sprout sat up, afraid to be as strong than he should be. Cosmo kept quiet for a moment, he remembered this was the same person who wanted him dead for years. Sprout then got up, before trying to ask him to leave again. Cosmo jokingly responded that he was trying to distract himself away from him. Sprout pinned him down against the bookshelf, before attempting to threaten him. Cosmo didn't flinch at this, that was the only Sprout he would ever miss. Cosmo didn't care how aggressive he was, he only wanted to stay this close toward him. Sprout noticed this, before letting him go for a moment, before pinning him to another bed, one with a rosy plaid patterned blanket. [Scared to explain this next scene so let's just uh time skip.] Cosmo felt Sprout's hair almost suffocate him, but he didn't mind it. Sprout stood on top of him, slightly shaky from the dark breeze. Cosmo asked if he could get off him, as he was already in enough pain from the restricted breathing. Sprout didn't argue, he got up and lays his head against the headboard. Sprout kept quiet, before asking for a smoke. Cosmo didn't fight; he handed one over as he lit it for him. It was silence before Cosmo's realization about what happened, He said he better go now as it was getting late, Sprout didn't attempt to force him close, he told him to take the clothes on the century old mattress, as his original ones were stained with blood. Cosmo got up and grabbed them, before getting dressed in the overly baggy clothes. He was grateful the shirt he was given wasn't without an undershirt underneath, otherwise his arms were the last thing he would expose outside. [End cuz of desc limit reached]
