Hihihi! I made this guy over the course of a few months with my brother, so I thought I’d share the process on here :3 1: Original concept art. The design ended up changing a lot from this lol 2: Redesign. Accounted for a lot of things, like the screen being easier to incorporate if it was black, space for the screen in the head, etc 3-5: Supplies (we did NOT use everything in that basket fyi) the electronics were entirely made with stuff my brother had sitting around lol 6: prototype head. It was made of foam and was very flimsy, but it did the job, 7: started programming! 8-10: Finished the prototype head and test fit the screen 11-12: still programming (my brother did all of that lol) 13-14: test fit with two of the faves 15: uhhh idk why this is in here twice but im too lazy to take it out 16: Trying out different colors! Ended up landing on the purple one. Looking back, I kinda wish I’d gone with red or black.. 17: face designs! Ended up changing or removing some of them due to limitations with the screen we’re using. 18-22: (ignore the fact that I’m holding this with my feet) test fit on the updated head. It’s made out of legos covered in clay and cardstock lol. Also more faces!! 23: trying to figure out how to decorate the front (ended up taking off the stars) 24: head is finished! 25: testing how everything works 26: started on the body! It’s made out of cosclay and is entirely hand sculpted :3 27: progressss 28: more progress 29-30: Almost done! Just testing the screen again 31-37: it’s doneee!!
