However through his desperation to do this he tends to fail to care for himself the way he cares for others. He’s stubborn in the way that he’s determined to do his best, a perfectionist in the way that he feels the need to make himself perfect. And insecure thinking it’s not enough. Eventually I do intend for him to grow, to learn that he needs to care for himself in order to do well in other sections of his life. If his first impression is bad he keeps pulling back to that idea. But if it’s good. Then you have his trust and he’s less likely to be like uhm no. Unless it like stems from a friendship… that would be different as in the sense of he likes them because he feels safe around them.
