The SRSOLS (dubbed the Orbital Flea) is a proposal for a small yet cheap orbital delivery system. It would possess two stages, the reusable main booster, and the expendable second stage. The reason for this body plan is cost, the philosophy here is to dump what's cheapest and save what's costly. To further this philosophy, it's been suggested to construct several dozen and potentially even hundreds of relatively small facilities for the manufacturing of these spacecrafts to allow for distribution of cost. This could mean that while competing markets produce maybe a dozen of their own spacecraft annually, dozenS of Fleas could be produced annually for lower prices and less strain. So, given the very enticing nature of this proposal, the CIRSEI has given serious attention to the concept, so it's likely that within a few months, a genuine technology demonstrator could be revealed to the public. idk this was kinda rushed, might redo later. Also, here are some stats regarding the size, the second stage is around 50ft tall, with a diameter of 14.5ft, while the main booster is around 82ft tall with a diameter of 10ft.
Based VERY loosely off the Falcon-9 and a few European designs. btw this is a concept, so the tech demo and standardized design are gonna look different from this project
