Hi everyone! This is a cool effect I discovered during the 2021 Scratch Design Studio - Colorless! It's an easy grayscale effect that can turn any sprite or backdrop into grayscale! The way it works is by using a glitch in Scratch's code. When setting the color effect of a sprite, if we add Infinity as the amount, Scratch freaks out trying to find the right color and removes all the color instead. Try it out here! Press space to toggle grayscale for everything in the scene! Feel free to backpack this script and use it in your own projects too!
I didn't invent this but I think it's pretty cool and more people should be trying it out. However, I don't know who originally created it.
