One morning, everyone is sleeping expect Tom and Edd, so technically, only matt is sleeping. tom and Edd were in toms' room, going through a ton of memories that Edd had captured. there was a loud thud which woke matt up, everyone ran to the living room. It was obviously Ringo, right? nah, its Tord. Edd ran to hug him and so did matt. tom froze. he couldn't speak. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING...HERE-", tom said...clearly pissed off. Edd explained everything and tom really didn't care. Tord asked 4 his room back which made tom even madder and tom snapped, yelling, swearing, all of it. tom left that day... 2 days past, they hadn't heard a world from tom. one day Edd, matt and Tord were shopping and Tord said "I got to go, see y'all in a few". Edd didn't question, he trusted Tord! Tom was walking down the road and seen the wanted poster of Tord. he immediately sprinted to Edd's place and found Tord! "HUH- oh..its you, what are you doing here..." Tord asked in a nonchalant tone. Tom was clearly mad, "I WAS GONNA ASK YOU THE SAME THING!?" he held up the poster, Tord chuckled and clicked a button. "Just here for...my hat <3" tom was in shock, "wha-".. Tord chuckled and smile, the smile was unsettlingly joyful. "im just kidding, this is what im here for XD" a giant robot (not a surprise ya know). Edd and Matt got home a few minutes later, the house was destroyed...but still somehow standing. Edd was heartbroken. they had noticed the giant robot and dropped everything. "TORD, WHA- WHATS THIS? I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!?" Tord hollow laugh echoed through the air..."sigh...FRIEND?! no, no, NO, you were just a TOOL for my FUTURE!" tom was still in the house when tord unknowingly...shot at it, exploding it. "NO- NO! TOM?!" Edd screamed, digging through the pieces of the house...there laid toms' body. tord began to leave when an annoying beeping started, he remembered that the robot wasn't fully developed yet and he began to panic! he got out right before the explosion. Tord turned to where Edd was, Edd got up and walked to tord, fist clenched. Edd shoved tord to the ground, he started swearing and yelling at tord while crying. Matt had to hold back Edd and try to calm him down. the crying and ETC. made it hard for tord to understand, but he caught one part... "YOU KILLED HIM, YOU KILLED TOM! HIS BLOOD IS ON YOUR HANDS!" tord started laughing...edd was in shock but slowly tords laughter turned into crying... Matt helped tord up, feeling guilty about being mad at him. Few days later, nothin is the same anymore. Edd got back from the store; he was clearly irritated. when he opened the door, he seen matt and tord arguing and fighting. glass, pictures, and broken dishes all scattered. Edd went down the hall and stopped at toms room, he slowly opened the door. Toms room remained untouched...Edd noticed a notebook on toms' bed, he grabbed it and opened it to the first page, it was writings about their adventures. Edd kept looking through it, finding writings, drawings, and little stories. Edd seen Susan on in the corner, dust beginning to form on her. Edd sat on toms' bed, he darted to his feet when he heard someone coming in. "Ya know, he was always secretive...kinda silly bout it though", matt said in a gentle tone. Matt sat down with Edd and told him..."it's okay to miss people, Edd." Edd teared up and hugged matt. Edd grabbed the notebook and started writing about everything that has happened since tom...you know. They all began to move on, but Edd always wrote about anything that was worth it. Tord was still stuck in the past though. Tord couldn't forgive himself for what he did. 5 days had past...Tuesday came and Edd went to get Tord from his room, nothing was even in the room, Tord's stuff was packed and clearly, Tord was missing. ... one note...sat unopened, it had Edds name on it. He slowly opened it, in Tord's neat handwriting it said "dear Edd (and Matt if he's also reading it-), I left to pursue my future as the Red Leader. Don't look 4 me, good luck". Edd was furious. Tord was responsible for tom's death and he just...LEAVES?! Matt walked in and his eyes widen in shock, "wha what WHAT-!?" matt said his voice was shaky. "WHERES TORD, DID HE ACTULLY JUST...LEAVE!?" matt yelled, he was so...hurt by this. Meanwhile...Tord was at the base, in his office. he was experimenting, he was developing a deadly acid. Paul burst in the door, causing the desk to shake...the acid had spilt onto Tords arm. "AH-" Tord screamed in pain. Paul helped him to the hospital. When they arrived, Tord had lost all feeling in that arm. The doctors panicked, they had to remove his arm. After the surgery, they went back to the base. Patryk was waiting patiently and then greeted them once they arrived, Tord went to his office and began making blueprints. "Sir, the hospital said to rest" Paul hummed. "No, I'm working on something to help me" Tord said in a bittersweet tone. Paul smiled and walked out of Tords office.
(continued) Tord continued working, he grew exhausted each day. Paul walked in calmly the next day, "sir, have you slept at all?" Paul hummed. "...yes" Tord muttered. Paul smiles, the smile was hollow, no meaning behind it. Paul walked out of Tord office and down the hall, still smiling. "what's got you so happy?" Patryk asked, clearly startled by Paul's sudden happiness. "Nothing that shall concern you." Paul hummed, walking past Patryk as if he doesn't exist. Meanwhile...Edd was pacing around the house. "This is stupid." matt muttered, they began to wonder...why did Tord leave so...quickly and why did he regret killing tom...he hates him right? Yes They got in the car and drove to the airport, bought tickets and flew to Norway. Edd kept muttering something and Matt couldn't catch what Edd was saying. On the plane, Edd waited, he wanted time to fly faster so he could get there. Tord had finally finished his creation, an arm. he attached it, it was perfect. the red metal gleamed in the light, Tord was proud of himself. Edd and Matt got off the plane and bolted out of the airport. Edd paused, looked around... "Shoot, WE DONT KNOW WHERE HES GONNA BE!?" Matt glanced around, his eyes widened when he seen someone. "We are about to know..." matt muttered, he walked over to a bench near a park! "WAIT UP!" Edd shouted, running to catch up to Matt "Hello...Paul." matt said calmly. Paul looked up from the newspaper and seen them, his usually frow turned to a wide grin. "Ah...hello matt. hello Edd!" Paul said politely though they could hear the pity, despair, venom in his voice. Tord sat in his office, he began to feel dizzy...his chest was tight, his heart ached. he got up and walked out of his office. The halls were empty; the lights were off. But why...this isn't normal Tords heart raced as he walked down the halls...the halls felt longer than usual. Why was this happening, what was happening? (this is only chapter 1 I guess, funfact, I have had this au for a long time there are 793 chapters <3) *IM MAKIN MORE CHAPTERS HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA*
