These are the rules for the Falling Stars. There is a codeword hidden in here that you have to use for your forms. 1. Follow Scratch Community Guidelines Keep all roleplays G-rated and safe for Scratch. No explicit violence, severe gore, romance beyond mild crush/mating context, or heavy themes. 2. No Godmodding or Powerplaying • You cannot control another player’s character without their permission. • No "insta-hits" in battle! Write your attacks as ATTEMPTS so the other player can react (e.g., "Ravenwing dived down, reaching his talons out to strike," NOT "Ravenwing dived down and slashed the owl's eye"). • Give your character realistic flaws—no bird can dodge every attack, hunt perfectly every time, or fly through every storm unscathed. 3. High Command & Promotions • High Command positions (Greatwing, Stormbeak, Skywhisper) must be earned or awarded by the owner (me!)/managers/Greatwing of your flock (but they have to tell me or a manager!) • Do not self-promote your character to Skyclaw or High Command without completing your character's required RP trials or getting approval. 4. Realistic Bird Behavior & Species • Stick to the species allowed in your Flock (Sunforge = Ravens/Corvids; Nightshadow = Owls; Drift-Wings = Wandering birds). • No fantasy powers (telepathy, magic flight, elemental powers) unless explicitly granted through accessories or by RP managers. • Keep flight and hunting styles realistic to your bird's physical size and build. 5. Character Limits & Creation • Maximum of 2 active characters per roleplayer to prevent studio clutter. • Keep active track of your character's age (in seasons) as time progresses in the RP. 6. Respect & OOC (Out of Character) • Separate the character from the player! If two birds are fighting in the RP, it doesn't mean the roleplayers are fighting. • Use OOC brackets when talking outside of character in the RP chain (e.g., (( BRB )), // open for RP?, or [ OOC: Hi! ]). • Be welcoming to new roleplayers! Don't leave anyone out of RP chains. (Codeword is twinkle) 7. Activity & Retirement • If you go on hiatus or leave the RP, notify a manager so important ranks (like High Command or Skywhisper apprentices) can be managed. • Inactive High Command characters may be stepped down if the roleplay needs to move forward. 8. Dice Rolling and Chance • Major battle outcomes, flight trials, or hunting catches may be rolled by a manager using a standard 1–6 dice system. • Players must accept the outcome of a manager's roll to keep the story fair and unpredictable. 9. Ranking Up Without EXP • You do not need to track EXP points. • To rank up from Featherling to Skyclaw, you can tell a manager at the apprentice training station that you have had a training session with your mentor (it needs proof) but if your mentor is not training you, and you have reminded them at least 3 times, please let ME know.
