These are the groups for my RP, The Falling Stars. Read through these carefully before creating your character, and remember the species of bird you need to be to get in to one of the flocks, as nobody will let you in otherwise. Sunforge Flock - The High-Sky Strategists (Ravens & Corvids) Sunforge Flock dominates open canyon ledges, sunlit crags, and high thermals. They are a brilliant, social, and tactical flock that views the sky as a puzzle to be solved using intellect, memory, and acrobatic flight. • What They Value: Ingenuity, Flight Mastery, and Collective Voice. • Flock Culture: Loud, active, and constantly moving. They debate on high stone perches, test apprentices with aerial maneuvers, and see the falling stars as a mystery to be studied and claimed. • Interactive RP Traditions: - The Thermal Test: An apprentice trial where a mentor drops a stone from high above, and the player must dive and catch it before it hits the canyon floor. - Sun-Council: Daily flock debate RP hosted on the highest ledge. - Flight of Colors: Skyclaw ceremony where new warriors dip their flight feathers in red clay before taking their new name. - The Ridge Oath: High Command ascension ceremony where the new Stormbeak takes a formal vow on the Highest Spire. - The Trinket Ceremony: A retiring Elderwing gifts their favorite shiny trinket to a young Featherling. Nightshadow Flock - The Silent Watchers (Owls) Nightshadow Flock nests in deep, mist-covered pine hollows and mossy valleys. They are a secretive, nocturnal, and deeply spiritual flock that moves in absolute silence and guards the sacred secrets of the night sky. • What They Value: Unseen Stealth, Spiritual Clarity, and Vigilance. • Flock Culture: Calm, deliberate, and deeply respectful of the dark. They speak in quiet clicks and hoots, viewing falling stars as sacred messages and divine warnings sent directly from the Great Sky. • Interactive RP Traditions: - The Silent Strike: Apprentice trial where a player must stealthily stalk an object or prey in total darkness without making a feather-sound. - Midnight Vigil: Skyclaw ceremony where a Featherling spends a silent night perching at the top of the canopy reading star patterns before taking their name. - Hollow Meeting: Nightly gather RP inside the Great Oak to share omens and assign patrols. - The Star-Bond: High Command ascension ritual where the ascending Skywhisper and Greatwing travel to the Valley of Mist to receive a blessing from the Great Sky. - Nest-Weaving: Group RP event where younger birds gather soft down feathers and moss to line a cozy hollow for a retiring Elderwing. Drift-Wings - The Wandering Nomads Drift-Wings are independent birds- migrants, lone hunters, and travelers who refuse to tie themselves to a single territory or follow Flock High Command. • What They Value: Unbound Freedom, Adaptability, and Neutrality. • Waypoint Meetings: Spontaneous RP interactions where two solitary players meet at a neutral roosting spot to trade news, herbs, or gossip. • Flock Crossing: An intense RP scenario where a Drift-Wing player tries to sneak across Flock territory without getting caught by a patrol.
