AND IT TOOK LIKE **10 HOURS** TO JUS CODE. if anything, the **BLINKING** was so freaking hard to code and keep on time. ╭─────────────── ✦───────────────╮ **THE LORE** ╰─────────────── ✦───────────────╯ OK, this is BEFORE ash and nyx got together. after nyx finally got enrolled into school, everything was still pretty new to her. she was getting used to being around so many people, figuring out how normal school life worked, and slowly starting to build a life outside of the facility. after a while, she started noticing **ash**. at first, she didnt think much of him. he was jus another student she would occasionally see in the halls. but the more she saw him, the more she started paying attention to him. there was smth about him that caught her attention. anytime nyx saw ash, he always seemed happy. he would be laughing with his friends, joking around, or jus enjoying himself. and for some reason, **seeing him happy made nyx happy too.** eventually, nyx realized she had developed a crush on him. the problem? **ash didnt even know she existed.** nyx would see him around school and quietly watch from a distance, never really knowing how to approach him. she didnt expect him to like her back, but that didnt stop her from wishing he would notice her someday. whenever ash smiled, nyx couldnt help but smile too. but whenever she remembered that he didnt like her—or more accurately, that he didnt even know her well enough to like her—it still made her upset she would try to tell herself that it was stupid to be upset over someone who didnt even know she existed. but it still hurt. even if she knew she had no reason to be upset, she couldnt exactly control how she felt. for now, nyx was content with jus seeing ash happy from afar, even if a small part of her wished that, one day, **she could be the reason behind that smile.**
