I woke up to my dad saying my new knight was waiting Downstairs. I got dressed and went downstairs to meet him. Even though I would have preferred not too. “Zelda this is Link.” My dad said. “Whatever.” I replied as Link waved at me. “So every time you go out with her you’ll get paid because I can’t think of anything else to give you for this. Thank you so much, you’re the only person that said you would do it.” My dad continued. Link nodded. “Oh of course he’s only doing this for the money!” I thought rolling my eyes. “Bye guys I’m going out!” I said creeping out the door. “Nice try Zelda. Link’s coming with you.” My dad said. I sighed, and walked outside. We walked up some hills and small mountains until we found a ruin. I was studying it, and I tried to connect my sheikah slate to it but it didn’t work. I groaned, as link walked closer to try and help me. “Just go back to the castle. You’re just following me around for nothing. It’s not like somethings going to happ-” A monster came out of nowhere and pushed me to the ground. I screamed, and link came rushing over to strand in front of me. Guarding me. Shielding me. He fought it off quickly and we started walking towards the castle. I looked at link waiting for him to say something, but he didn’t. I’d realized since this morning he never said a word. “Thanks for…saving me.” I said. It hurt to say that to someone you never wanted to meet. But maybe, he was handsome? No, I never wanted a knight…never will. Chapter Three Coming Soon!
