Space. Please read. Adventure Journal: Day 1 (12/16/2016): --Left home. --Built a small shelter. --Built a fire. --Found a cave and moved our campsite there. --Gathered some edible plants. --Caught two rabbits --Made rabbit stew (Recipe at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/137012609/) --Ate rabbit stew (YUM!) --Made baked maple seeds and ate them (Recipe at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/137012609/) Day 2 (12/17/2016): --Woke up. We slept in our cave. It's cold but we came out here with heavy jackets, so we were fine. (What? It doesn't count as something other than a knife if we were wearing them! Right?!) --Set up snares. We're going to trap some game! --Caught a dove barehanded; it came to try to eat our stockpile of maple seeds that we were going to cook up and eat for ourselves. Not gonna happen, dove. --Roasted dove meat on hot coals wrapped in redbud leaves. --Made a primitive fishing rod. We're using a random paper clip we found in the woods as a hook, a straight branch for the pole, and a length of string from my old jacket as line. (We're wearing old, trashy clothes because we knew we'd rip them up for materials.) We have plenty of worms here in the woods--we're going fishin'! --Caught three large catfish and one large bass --Snared a deer Day 3 (12/18/2016): --Woke up --Gathered plants --Laid back and ate the meat from the deer and fish we caught the previous day! We only had to gather a few plants and we lazed around and ate all day! Day 4 (12/19/2016): --Woke up --Finished deer --Went fishing --Went gathering --Checked snares; had caught a rabbit and a groundhog --Ate. IM TOO LAZY TO FINISH THIS LOG
