Let’s go all the way back to when Milo was little. The first time baby Milo and AG—the girl on the left—met, they actually became really close. Like, REALLY close. They were best friends, and for a while, everything was great. Except AG had one tiny problem. Anytime Milo did something she didn’t like, or didn’t do something she wanted, AG would immediately stop being friends with them. And then, somehow, the very next week, she’d come back and ask if Milo wanted to be friends again. And little Milo would say yes. **Every. Single. Time.** Because, for some reason, baby Milo thought AG was really cool and genuinely wanted to be her friend. I don’t even know what was going through their tiny little head at the time. This cycle happened over and over again. AG would get mad. They'd stop being friends. Milo would be heartbroken. Then AG would come back. And Milo would forgive her. Then it would happen all over again. And this wasn't just some silly elementary-school argument. After dealing with that cycle for an entire year, little Milo was genuinely miserable. They'd cry themselves to sleep and spend so much time wondering what they'd done wrong or why they weren't good enough to keep a friend. Eventually, though, baby Milo had enough. The next year, they finally found the courage to cut AG out of their life. **YAYYYYYY!!** And for a while, that was that. A whole year passed. Then another. Until one day, there was a scoliosis check in the gym. Milo was leaving when AG suddenly looked over and said: **“Ew, is that deadname?”** And Milo just stopped. After everything that had happened between them, after all those years, AG still thought she could make a comment like that. So Milo turned around and said: **“Yeah, it is. Got a problem with that, AG?”** AG was completely stunned. And Milo? Milo walked out of that gym feeling like the main character. Like they had just delivered the coldest line in human history. **Absolute baddie behavior.** (even though it was cringe) But unfortunately… That wasn't the end of it. Because then came **THIS YEAR.** And somehow—despite everything that had happened—they both ended up in the same second-period class. So now Milo has to sit there and exist in the same classroom as the person who spent years making their life miserable. And honestly? **It sucks booty cheeks.**
