(Space/click/arrow keys) Hi :) With school starting in a week (hello what already ToT) I decided to share all the art from the summer that I haven't shared on here that also wasn't deleted from my files (a lot of things were recently for some reason </3), so not a lot lol. You'll see the last 4 are from my Hiatus + art project because I thought why not just combine the two and unshare that project. So, some people may have seen some of these pieces already :p 1-3. Grey Crowned Crane (with/without sunlight) I took a picture of one of these birds in an aviary while I was on vacation in india (3rd image). Their feathers look so so cool to me, and I love drawing birds in general :D This is my most recent piece out of all of them, and I think I’ve gotten better at realism and just digital art in general over the summer which I’m super happy about! this one actually hopped the fence and smacked my dad in the head with its wing TvT made yesterday/today, so in August 4-5. African Spoonbill! I also took a picture of one of these in the same aviary (image #5) and really wanted to draw it. The bounce light from the blue floor looked super cool on its white feathers. I'm pretty happy with how this came out even if it's still unfinished. I've started rendering and drawing with the square brush on Kleki instead of the round one and so far, I like it a lot more! (I do need to work on proportions more though TvT) made in August 6. Still life! (I used a reference I found on pin) this is from June. I honestly like how this came out! The cloth and orange are definitely a bit wonky and same with the bounce light on the vase, but it isn't horrible for a first attempt, I think. 7. 1- and 2-minute practice with a mix of different subjects! honestly not mad with this, the hands came out better than expected for one minute and the objects were fun to draw as well. It definitely helped me focus more on the key elements that would make the drawing resemble the subject and stopped me from stressing over small details. Don't mind the little notes ToT </33 8. My pfp </3 lowk made this in 2 seconds and I hate it. Made in June. 9. Unfinished pond thing I made in June that I’ll probably never get to finishing imo. The lily pads aren’t horrible but the rest kinda is. I might redo this though! Thats all! Have a great rest of summer break for some of you and school year for others :D I’ll be posting Wayy less frequently once school starts since I have to lock in on entrance exams for high schools and also fall sports, Njhs campaigns, clubs, hw, social life, and extracurriculars :’))
