BF Interpreter (made entirely in Scratch) A complete BF interpreter built 100% with Scratch blocks. Features: - Full BF command support: `+ - < > . , [ ]` - Nested loops - 8-bit cells (0–255 wraparound) - 30,000 memory cells - ASCII input and output - Optimized execution: - Run-length compression (`++++` → `ADD 4`) - `[-]` CLEAR optimization - Precomputed bracket jump tables Usage: 1. Enter BF source code into the `program` variable. 2. Enter input text into the `inputtext` variable if needed. 3. Start the project or broadcast `GO` (or `RUN`). 4. Read the output from the `result` variable.
Scratch's text handling limits some control characters such as NULL (`\0`). This is a Scratch VM limitation, not an interpreter limitation.
