so uh the thomas trailer came out... PROS: The animation looks... decent? Idk but this is definitely netflix kids show quality (which is what this is) Henry is back at tidmouth sheds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sodor seems to function as an actual railway now the engines are kinda acting like real trains The sets look decent' side note: to me, it looks like the faces were motion tracked, like they motion tracked the voice actors while they were recording their lines, hence some of the weird expressions and mouth movements. it seems like there is ONLY a british dub, which is a good thing in my opinion, sodor IS british after all. CONS: Thomas & Percy are voiced by kids (but to be honest we were all expecting that some things like bruno & the mail cars look really toy-like for whatever reason, thomas pulls generic green coaches instead of annie & clarabel, maybe they are just anyone's coaches now ig they will sing in the special, i wont have a problem with this if its only in the specials but if they sing in the episodes as well, i will be pretty mad. Some very weird animation errors, giving the impression of ai, although i think it is too early to judge if it is ai or not. this seems like it is more for kids than i thought it would, like i know its a kids show but it seems way less mature that it seemed before, i dont think many thomas fans will really this as great. Whether it is actually a good KIDS show, i am not sure yet. thomas struggles to pull ONE mail car up the hill. the motorized toys are accurate ig also the fat controller is the fit controller now lol
