Mark runs from the scene, leaving the TII operators behind with no idea where he has gone. He tears through the streets, his breathing growing heavier with every step. The nausea that had been building inside him intensifies, twisting his stomach and making it difficult to keep his balance. Then, up ahead, he spots someone climbing into a parked car. Desperate, Mark rushes toward him, shoves him aside, and forces his way into the vehicle. The engine roars to life as he speeds away. While driving, Mark reaches into his pocket and pulls out another document—one he managed to steal from the hotel. He unfolds it carefully, his eyes scanning the pages in silence, desperately trying to make sense of what he's reading. Suddenly - The car slams violently into a street pole. The impact sends Mark forward, and for a moment, everything is silent. His vision swims. The nausea has become unbearable. He forces himself out of the wrecked vehicle, stumbling onto the street as his legs struggle to support him. He barely makes it a few steps. From the corner of his blurred vision, a TII operator emerges. Mark freezes. A gunshot tears through the air. A sharp pain explodes across his chest. He gasps, clutching the wound as his strength leaves him. His knees buckle, and he collapses onto the pavement. The operator raises his comms. "Target intercepted." The world around Mark begins to fade. The street disappears. The voices become distant. Everything goes black. Mark slowly regains consciousness. His eyes flutter open. Darkness surrounds him. For a moment, he has no idea where he is. Then he feels the subtle vibration beneath him—the steady hum of an engine. He's inside a moving vehicle. Mark tries to move, but immediately realizes he's not alone. Five TII operators sit around him, silently watching, their presence leaving no room for escape. Mark stares at them, still disoriented, as the vehicle continues deeper into the night.
